Aishwarya Rai was in news for a long time because of her weight gain. Instead of understanding that motherhood brings in substantial weight gain, people criticised her left and right. Whether it was social media or newspapers, the criticism was everywhere. Today we share the secrets from Aishwarya Rai diet plan.
Her weight was a much talked about issue for as long as two years. Wherever she went, whether it was the Cannes Festival or a movie premiere, she was criticised for her weight. What people overlooked completely is the fact that she was perhaps the first actress to step out in public glare while still carrying pregnancy fat. Instead of applauding her for it, the media and the public criticised her endlessly.
Regardless of all the criticism, she had to face, Aishwarya Rai stood firm and didn’t go for any kind of crash dieting or weight loss surgery. Now, six years later Aishwarya looks hotter than Anushka Sharma, 15 years her junior and her co-star in her latest movie “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
So, how did she do it?
Aishwarya Rai Diet Plan:
On Waking Up
She starts her day with a glass of warm water
mixed with honey and lemon. It helps with digestion and flushes away toxins from the body. It is also good for increasing immunity and relieving constipation.
The Aishwarya rai weight loss diet isn’t about skipping meals. She has her first big meal of the day on time every day. Her breakfast consists of the following:
Brown Bread (Contains fibre, maintains blood sugar level and is easy to digest)
Oats (Keeps you full for as long as six hours and brings down LDL cholesterol)
For lunch, Aishwarya eats chapatti with boiled vegetables. Might sound boring, but she didn’t get this figure by eating parathas!
The dinner of the Aishwarya rai weight loss diet consists of brown rice (filling and nutritious) with grilled fish, which is a big source of Omega 3 fatty acids and protein.
When she gets hungry in between, Aishwarya munches on fruits. Along with eating all the correct foods, she makes sure to drink eight glasses of water every day. Not drinking enough water can not only cause water retention but can also cause premature ageing and dehydration.
Her exercise routine consists of doing power yoga for 45 minutes regularly. She also likes to go for jogging and walking. Aishwarya isn’t much fond of going to gyms.
